gaiebel Kicks serious ass. A mixture of "damn the world sucks" and hopeful for what can be done to make it better. I feel like it has similar energy to Crust Punk bands. Favorite track: The Battle of Sudden Flame.
Tulekahju Renartus

Tulekahju Renartus one of the best RABM album I ever listened. It's atmospheric, it's furious, it's melancholic and it's powerful, a really complete record. love it Favorite track: Ancient Light.

detkroelledelyn A lot of folk/black bands use the two genres (folk v metal) to juxtapose beauty and grimness, on TO KNOW THE LIGHT, an aura of defiance and rebellion in both camps tie together folk belting and harsh blasting in perfect matrimony. Powerful, inspiring music! Favorite track: Freedom in Retrograde.

(Fuck the police, tear down the prisons, fuck the state, disrupt it's mechanisms. Rupture its fabric, action now!) I hear through unofficial channels In a house not so far away, The pigs savaged a child over nothing. I think he was born on the wrong side of a divide, His father of too much dignity to accept the fist that rules them. His friends illuminate the town, Burned a van, Planning to douse those animals in diesel For the noble cause of revenge. Stories like this launch a thousand burning promises Up into the sky, Projectile as crude weapon Says I will not support this, I am better than all of it, And burn this all down. Fuck every copper that ever took a wage, Every blue bastard with his baton raised, A beast that even his master hates, Only a coward fights for the state.
2.
The misery outside Leaves me feeling guilty For the happiness we still sometimes find. These moments of song of dancing, Feel like reckless theft of our own time. A careless squandering of hours, Owed to drudgery and worry. We the ones of burning light. Fuck them for what they take from us, And what they convince us to deny ourselves. I am not shy of the toil, my hands don't fear the dirt, But it is the impossible rigour, The brutality of being coerced. We the ones of burning light, We are strength unquantifiable. We of very great dignity, Of spirits unbroken, passions unbound! Worry not about the man who fights for his master, But fear all us now who fight for ourselves.

Inferno 03:59
If you were to describe to me the landscape of hell, Surely you would describe the conditions That people live in down here right now. Every devil, every evil is here, Every single wickedness has been called down. I think your gods have abandoned us, I don't think their Sons are coming back, And too long have we begged for the rapture, But our gaolers and captors wont grant us that. These skills from darkness learned, Fighting uphill against this heavenly evil Grant us a strength more terrible Than the rich in paradise know. The depths of the darkness is best observed by those that know of the light, And if we'd only just realise our best chance at survival starts with refusing to die. If they'll never let us through the gates of heaven, Then it is time to liberate hell. The greatest power the capitalist class have over our lives Is convincing us that betraying each other is the only way to survive. Their golden gates and divine rule won't protect them forever, Nothing can stop us wretched masses when we're all working together.

Requital 02:21
5.
The indignity being of so little imagination To dismally concede your trust again, Sepulchral; The ballot box a coffin For your wildest dreams. Hell's feeble apologists Capitals arbitrators, Those that would dull our blades, Those that would sully our every resistance. Those who so stupidly believe, That all this needs is a return to some previous condition. A fantasy time, beyond their own lifes horizon. Those who hate the problems, But deify the cause. A readjustment of its tolerances An aversion to any meaningful change, The horse less frequently whipped, A slight loosening of the reigns. What atrocity would it take For you to finally condemn the state?
6.
And that was it, you said - fuck them for this. The crushing weight of it all turning you to a skull with sunken eyes, no longer felt as heaviness but lived as liberation, bones that sought joy and destruction. Joy through destruction. We can spite them and live free in the spite, defiance as purpose, lack of purpose as defiance. And yet you knew, you know, it’s more than just that, why bother saying it if it’s meaningless, the moment is just that, but also it is everything from this moment on.
7.
The axe splits along the grain, The weed will find the cracks, Burning questions, long forgotten Must be the ones asked. There is grief in seeing yourself hardened, Your younger smiling self pummelled, Skin leathered Body braced Realisation like the surging flood That you can no longer slow, But in grief is the letting go. The lives we were all promised Were always out of reach Now ablaze, already ashes Blowing at our feet. But as one way is reduced to ash It clears way for many more, A myriad of paths unfinished, Maps yet to be drawn. The life we'd been confined to Was never going to last, This change brings a chance for freedom, The river must carve it's own path.
8.
This body is only a host Of struggle's dancing flame, The whole world knows its warmth, Though it goes by different names. Some might call it freedom, And also sometimes joy, Sometimes it answers to revenge And other times destroy. At our darkest moments, With our detractors circling, I just believe in freedom for every living thing Bodies unremitting Like waves upon the shore, You might imprison some of us, But you'll never take us all. Fuck every prison! And fuck the bastards that puts us in them! Though i have this creeping feeling That the dark is closing in, I still will fight for freedom for every living thing. If you still sing, then I'll still sing

Wild Fire 05:40
Is it duplicity, A performative racist deceit, Cheap shock theatre To which we should pay no heed? Or is this real? The sincere language of cowards? Like the denial of Peter the Apostle, Ashamed of your master, Of your pariahs gospel? I cant help but smile At the fascists curious insistence Of demanding to have a master And daring to call that resistance. Run, like rats through a sewer, Like roaches from torch-light run! Fear now cold days light! There is nothing in these songs Of which to be ashamed, Everything we sing about I would just as plainly say. For the noble flame of integrity Will surely always win, As dawn brings the reckoning.
10.
Here and there the trees are firebrands, Autumnal immolation, Those bold enough to know the cold And act accordingly; Acknowledgement, reconciliation, preparation. This is the changing season, More the shifting years Than some sudden equinox. These are retribution hours Go for the love of going, Run for the thrill of the pace. If hooded in black you hold the line And if you free animals from a cage And if you attack that border fence Or rescue families from the waves If you make food for those without, And if you pour sugar in to their machines, If you help those stolen by jail Or fight for your neighbours basic needs, You the still unafraid to love A demand for the end of demands! The sun still shines, And it would be a waste To not only lose tomorrow But also lose today.
